Richard Kohl, Ph.D., is an international thought leader and practitioner in the sustainable scaling up of innovative programs. Richard is currently founder and principal the Center for Large Scale Social Change LLC, whose mission is to support the scaling up of high-impact innovations. He has worked on scaling up projects and programs in health, education, health, rural poverty, and livelihood training in over thirty countries. In addition to many social enterprises, he has worked with or for: USAID, World Bank, UNICEF, UNFPA, DFID; and the Ford, Nike, MacArthur, Packard and Rockefeller Foundations. Richard recently assessed designed scaling strategies for a youth livelihoods training program in Rwanda and spent a week working with social enterprises in Ireland.
